On July 06, 2023, between 18:30 UTC and 23:16 UTC, part of our customers experienced a unexpected behavior in the discount calculation for products with unit multipliers different than 1.

During the incident, we identified the unexpected behavior introduced in the latest version of the Promotions module and promptly started the rollback to the previous version. After the rollback was made, we validated that the behavior was fixed. The incident affected less than 5% of our merchant.

The team has added new testing cases to ensure this type of scenario will be identified during the development lifecycle, preventing it from being released to our customer base. We are committed to improving our systems to guarantee a reliable and trusted experience.
